Google Drive displays all the device and WhatsApp backups. Tap the menu button in the upper-left corner or swipe from left to right. If you have multiple devices or want to manage this backup, you can do so from the Google Drive app. Google backs up an Android phone's SMS, call logs, app data, and specific device settings to the cloud. 
Google Drive automatically converts and downloads the file on your phone.
Select PDF as your desired file type and tap OK. 
Select Share and export followed by Save as. Tap the three-dot (⋮) overflow menu button in the upper-right corner. Select the appropriate option depending on the file type. 
Similarly, for text files, you will see an option to open them in Google Docs.
If it is an Excel/sheets file, you will see an option to open it in Google Sheets. Open the file you want to convert to PDF. Open the Google Drive app on your phone. I created an alt gmail account and tested it as an owner. That’s a problem because, unless you use something like Google Gears, you won’t have access to your Google documents while you are in an airplane or are using an old computer that has Microsoft Office but no Internet connection. If you zip the folder then share it you can download the full folder. While Google Docs is brilliant, the only issue is that you need an active Internet connection to create new Office documents in Google Docs as well as for editing /reading old files that already exist in your Google account.
